Employer's Agent

The Employer’s Agent takes on a crucial role within a design and build project, which includes managing the project, ensuring adherence to the contract, and representing the client’s interests to ensure the project proceeds effectively. This includes overseeing the entire project, from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects align with the client’s objectives and the contractual requirements.

The Employer’s Agent plays the crucial part of advocating for the client’s interests, ensuring that their vision for the project is realized and ensuring smooth execution through project management, contract compliance, and client representation.

Tendering and procurement of the main contractor
Contract documentation
Administer the terms of the design and build contract as Employer's Agent
Establish and operate post contract cost control procedures
Value draft instructions / assess programme implications for varying the work prior to issue
Issue instructions as required
Prepare monthly recommendations for interim payments to the contractor
